Stack

Some of the spells have a persistent effect on the target; they are called buffs when they have an overall positive effect, and debuffs when it is negative.

Sometimes, a same effect can be accumulated on a target. If the number of time it is present on the target is relevant, we call it the number of stacks of the spell on the target.
