Spawn Nodes
EFFECT NODE
Effect
Makes another entity appear in the game. Each node can make several entities spawn, but they must all be the same
This node has two types : Spawn monster and Spawn aoe.
Revert Effect
None, the spawned entities stays in the game
Components
Spawn Monster Node
All of the following components all also used in the spawn aoe node
Details: Button: Open the editor corresponding to the spawn entity
Entity To Spawn: Dropdown: Allows to select which entity to choose among the editors of the correct type
Amount To Spawn: Input Field: Sets the amount of entities to spawn
Initial Offsets: Sliders: Sets the position where the entity will spawn to an offset from the position of the entity the target or caster If the target is a spawn area, a position will be chosen randomly in the area as a starting position for the new entity
Increment offset for new spawns: Checkbox: If there are several entities to spawn, you can choose to spawn them at different places with this option. It opens the Incremental Offset Panel
Incremental Offsets: Sliders: Add this offset to the spawn position between each entity spawned
Spawn Aoe Node
In addition to the previous component, the spawn aoe node has specific ones :
Follow Target: Checkbox: If this is checked, the aoe will move with its target
Add Preview: Checkbox: To give the player the time to react, you can set up a preview before actually spawning the aoe. In this case, the spawn effect will start by displaying the same aoe, but in grey and with no effect. The preview aoe will automatically follow the target
Preview Time: Sliders: Sets the life time of the preview aoe and the time before the actual aoe is spawned.
